We launched in 2025 from our hometown of Stroud, UK, to share our passion for great books with curious readers. We aim to connect people with literature that has the power to transport them across borders, to different times, cultures, geographies and ways of life.

We champion independent presses, marginalised voices, and diverse perspectives—and only recommend books that we have personally read and enjoyed.
